WHY IS ALL OF THE MACHINERY YOU SELL A SIMILAR AGE AND DO YOU HAVE OLDER MACHINERY?

Within the H. E. SERVICES Group of companies, there is an excellent machinery replacement policy. This is to ensure that we can offer every customer the most advanced, productive and modern plant machinery. The average age of equipment within the company fleet is 3 years old.

We only stock equipment which has been purchased for use on our fleet. 

WHERE DO YOU SUPPLY PLANT MACHINERY TO?

We have supplied plant machinery to all corners of the world. There is a very high chance that wherever you are in the world, you are not far from an H. E. SERVICES machine both new and old. We have regular shipments of plant machinery going to all European countries.

We also have established customers in the USA. As well as the Middle East, Africa, Russia, Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean. 

CAN YOU ARRANGE SHIPPING?

Yes, we can take care of all of your shipping needs and requirements. We work with a pool of carefully selected specialist freight forwarders and shipping companies.

Each have many years experience working within the construction and plant industry, moving and shipping heavy equipment and plant. These trusted and professional companies are within the UK, USA & Europe. This therefore gives them scope both nationally and internationally.

We have chosen to work with these tried and tested shipping partners. This ensures we can offer our customers the most reliable, safe and cost effective service.

We offer shipping by Sea-freight using Roll-on/Roll-off transportLow Loaders and shipping containers, as well as road haulage if required.

UK PLANT DELIVERIES

For inland deliveries within the UK we use our own national fleet of dedicated plant beaver-tail trucks and low-loaders, we have the capacity to move machinery up to 60 tons.

WHAT WARRANTY DO YOU OFFER AND WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH MY MACHINE?

We offer a 3 month warranty with all of our machinery

The warranty starts from the date that the machine is collected and covers major components. However, it does not cover perishable items such as, tyres, hoses, light bulbs, fuses etc. It also does not cover any damage to the machine after collection.

Reputation is everything to us

This is why if there is an issue we endeavour to have them resolved as soon as possible. In the event that you do need to claim under the warranty, we will need full details of the fault immediately. To make sure this process is handled quickly we will need as much information as possible and a set of clear and detailed photos.

For mainland UK customers we use our national depot network and team of mobile engineers to carry out repairs. For international customers we look to work with you directly or by using local based mechanics to complete any warranted work.

Yes, we can supply the machine complete with the unique Masterhitch fully automatic quick hitch system. It is fully CE compliant and complies with the latest international standards for quick hitches.

 
DO YOU OFFER FINANCE ON YOUR MACHINERY?

Financing equipment is not a service we offer directly. We tend to work closely with a carefully selected group of finance houses and brokers. We work with several companies in order to offer our customers flexible and competitive financing options.

We are more than happy to work directly with overseas finance companies if instructed to by the customer.

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?

The preferred method of payment is via bank transfer. We can also accept escrow via a third party shipping company (we must have a working relationship with the third party).

All machinery sold will stay the property of the H.E. Group Ltd until full cleared funds are received. Machinery will not be released for dispatch or collection until full cleared funds are received.

WHAT CURRENCIES DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept payment in Pounds Sterling (GBP), Euros (EUR) and US Dollars (USD). GBP is the base currency that we work from, all quotes in EUR or USD will be based on the daily rate we receive from Santander bank. This is with a cushion percentage added to allow for any expected fluctuation between currencies.

EUR and USD quotes are valid for 5 days. If a quote is accepted after the 5th day the value will be adjusted using the daily rate provided by Santander bank.

WHAT DOCUMENTS WILL I RECEIVE AFTER ORDERING A MACHINE?
Once a machine has been shipped, we will raise the final sales invoice. The final sales invoice along with all documentation that we hold for each machine will be sent by post. Email copies of invoices and documentation can also be provided on request.
DOES YOUR MACHINERY HAVE A SERVICE HISTORY?

Every H. E. SERVICES Group machine is serviced at the manufacturer’s recommended intervals and we can provide a service record upon request. For Komatsu machinery with Komtrax, any servicing that has been completed can be updated onto the Komtrax system and can be viewed online. Komtrax is a subscription service provided by Komatsu. Contact your local Komatsu dealer for further details. 

WHAT IS THE PREPARATION PROCESS THAT MACHINERY GOES THROUGH BEFORE BEING SOLD?
Every H. E. SERVICES Group machine goes through a strict preparation process. All machinery is checked for damage and defects. All controls are checked to ensure they are operating effectively. Once it is established what work is required, the work is then booked with in with the plant workshop and paint shop.

At the H. E. SERVICES Group Head Office in Strood, Kent we have a large workshop fully equipped for almost any machinery requirements. Our company stores stock for all commonly required parts. In addition, we have a paint-shop capable of repainting even our largest excavator at over 50 tonnes The Finishing Touch.

WHAT BUCKETS CAN YOU SUPPLY WITH THE MACHINE I AM ORDERING?

On site at the H. E. Services Group Head Office is also where Masterhitch Europe Limited is based. Masterhitch is our very own bucket, attachment and fabrication company. Masterhitch make buckets and quick hitches for every single machine on the H. E. SERVICES Group fleet above 1.5 tonnes. They manufacture a large selection of attachments for telescopic handlers and excavators. In addition, Masterhitch design and fabricate all the attachments for the rides and attractions found at Diggerland. These are the construction theme parks in the UK and USA.

QUICK HITCHES

Masterhitch quick hitches are the safest digger attachments currently available on the market. With a unique hooking system and quad-locking design there really is not a better or safer hitch around.

SECURITY

To improve security and reduce bucket theft, Masterhitch quick hitches have been specially designed so that you can only pick-up a Masterhitch bucket with a Masterhitch quick hitch.

CUSTOMER PREFERENCES 

Some customers have a preference for a particular type or brand of quick hitch. We are therefore more than happy to accommodate any requirements that you may have when ordering a machine.
